Meet our Executive Director:

Ricardo Loaiza is a DC area Latin Dance legend. Originally from Colombia, Ricardo has been a self-taught dance educator for some of the most prestigious dance institutions in the area. Together with his wife and dance partner Elba Garcia, born in Puerto Rico from Cuban parents, they have taught, choreographed, and performed at over 500 events in the DC area and in more than 20 cities across the U.S. and internationally. In 1996, Loaiza and Garcia co-founded DC Salseros/Latin Vibes Dancenter – DC’s Metro area first Latino-owned dance studio.
